an oettcher was a member of the Cheese Lords since the earliest rehearsals and performed on all three of the group's CDs. Returning to the Cheese Lords after a hiatus to attend graduate school in Connecticut, Dan sang tenor with the group until fall 2007, when he siezed the opportunity to study baroque bassoon. Dan is a native Coloradoan but has called Washington home since he arrived for college in 1992. Dan's other musical pursuits have included past membership in the Cathedral Choral Society and study of the (modern) bassoon in Rome, Italy. Dan enjoys the academic pursuit of esoteric theoretical topics, and international travel.
